Speakers Bureau

Are you looking for a speaker about Jewish Family History?

The aims and objectives of The Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain (JGSGB), are to help others to learn and discover more about their Jewish ancestors and to encourage genealogical research.  We provide members and visitors to our society with advice, guidance, and education on how to research their Jewish family history.

Presenters are Available for your Meeting

JGSGB’s Speakers Bureau offers you a wide range of different lectures and presentations for your local meeting.  We can provide practical workshops as well as more general presentations, targeted to beginners, experienced genealogists, and everyone in between.  We can offer a lecture presentation to your organization on how to get started researching your family history, or how to undertake specific research in particular sets of records, or in a specific geographic location.  Typically, such a presentation will be approximately one hour in length, with additional time devoted to answering questions. Other topic presentations may be available, for example on the use of DNA testing for family history research.  Please contact us for information if you have a special genealogy topic of interest to your organization.

How to Request a Presentation

To schedule a speaker for your organization, please contact our Outreach and Speaker Secretary Jeanette R Rosenberg OBE education@jgsgb.org.uk to discuss your plans.  JGSGB is a charity run by volunteers.  The Society kindly requests a donation to the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain for this service, thank you.
