- Description: The German Special Interest Group of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain will be meeting in hybrid format (in person and online via Zoom) from 2.00pm to 5.00pm on Sunday 1 December 2024.
At the meeting I will deliver my usual presentation on some of the new (to me) developments and recent discoveries in German-Jewish genealogy covering German-speaking Jewish people and all the places they may have visited or travelled to. As ever, my presentation from the meeting will be made available after the meeting, and the meeting will end with an opportunity for you to ask any questions about your own family history research. After this, those attending in person are welcome to continue their research in our at home genealogy reference library.
1. For those attending in Person
If you wish to attend in person, the meeting is at my house in Edgware. Please email gersig@jgsgb.org.uk for address details.
If you are attending in person, you will also have the chance to dip into our books, to try to further your research. There are quite a few new books here since the last time we met here, before Covid. Please feel free to bring your research with you to see if any of our books are useful sources of reference for you and to ask advice from other members in helping you find where you might research next.

2. For those attending online via Zoom
We will also be meeting virtually online via Zoom on your own computer, for those who are unable to attend in person. Please book in advance to attend the Zoom meeting:
